ECAC has Worse Officating that the "W"

This is an interesting article I found on Kevin Allenspach's blog. Apparently the ECAC has worse officating than the WCHA. Interesting. From

The SCSU mens' hockey team beat Colgate 3-1 on Friday night, but the Raiders had some interesting things to say afterward.
Coach Don Vaughan on the fact that his team had just two power-play chances after having 180 in 17 games in the eastern time zone: "I thought it was absolutely great. It's the most 5-on-5 hockey we've played this year. It was refreshing. There's a lot less flow to the game (in the ECACHL) with all the special teams stuff. We've had 180. (SCSU) has had, what, 70? You can take it from there."
