Big Buff smokes Chris Pronger

Talk about finishing a check against your opponent that was a text book hit. Last night the Blackhawks did what they needed to do to win the game. The Blackhawks finished their checks and jumped on the Flyers mistakes.
BallHype: hype it up!

  1. How come I get the feeling that this hit would've been a penalty if it occurred in Games 1-4?

  2. This is a penalty if you want to play the game by the rule book, 2min for interference (I believe its rule #56). If you ask me it's an absolutely awesome hockey play and I hope they don't muck up the game by nit picking every little incident on the ice. Some would have you believe that big Buff is a hack, but I don't buy it. They were both close enough to the puck and each other, that the refs shouldn't let a little thing like the fact that Buff was behind Pronger or the fact that Buff used his arm and his stick to knock Pronger down get in the way of calling a hockey game correctly. Maybe all those people who think big Buff is a hack are just mad because his doesn't play for their team, I don't know just a thought.

Hey how come you guys haven't posted on all the missed high sticking calls in the final; I can understand missing one or two, but there have been at least five missed or botched calls so far.

  3. Never Summer-

You're probably right concerning the penalty. I didn't realize the puck wasn't being played by Pronger at the time. So, yeah, it probably should have been a penalty.

Some say Buff is a hack... No.. He's not... He's a guy you love when he's on your team but people hate him when he's opposing your team. That's why his penalties to Flyers fans aren't really penalties to Hawks fans.

    Hey! I love Pronger logic!
