Goon's prediction of who in or not.

It is that time of year again. You are the committee

1 [AQ] Michigan
2 [AQ] New Hampshire
3 Miami (Mm)
4 [AQ] North Dakota (ND)
5 Colorado College
6 Denver (DU)
7t Boston College (BC)
7t St. Cloud State (SC)
9t Michigan State (MS)
9t Clarkson (Ck)
11 Minnesota (Mn)
12t Minnesota State (Mk)
12t Wisconsin (Wi)
14 Notre Dame (Nt)
15 [AQ] Princeton (Pn)
16[AQ] Niagara (Ni)

I still think that 7 teams might be too many for the WCHA; but that is based on my picks from you are the committee. Personally, I don't believe that Wisconsin deserves to be in the tourney by missing the conference tourney and being below .500. Just my opinion. I don't mind the Sioux going to Madison either even if the BADgers are in the tourney.

  1. Why do you hate WI so much? How do the goofs rate better? We are about even with them seeing as though we both won one and tied one against each other on our own ice. The only reason they head to the Final Five is because Shep wasn't going to let them get beat bt the Mavs. Its crap! The Goofs are no more deserving than WI.

  2. It's nothing personal, as a Sioux fans I not a fan naturally of the BADgers or the Goofs, Kind of like LGM not liking the Sioux.

I am guessing that Wisconsin isn't going to get in based on the fact that they are out of the final five. I wish the Goofs were going home and the Mavs were going to the final five. The only better about the Gophers is they have a shot a winning a final five but they will be lucky if they win on thursday night.

Remember hate program/team but I don't hate the fans. If it wasn't for Wisconsin we wouldn't have great beer and Brent Favre. :)

  3. I hate beer and Brett Farve....maybe I should move to ND ;)

It isn't like I think that WI should be in, it just seems like you really hate WI a lot so I thought I'd mention it.

  6. I guess I don't see why the Gophers are so far up there. I think that they should be tied with WI over the Mavs being tied with WI. Even though they pulled out a win this weekend to get into the FF that doesn't mean they actually deserved it.

  7. Nobody deserves anything you have to earn it. IMO, the Gophers, UND, CC, DU, SCSU earned the right to be at the FF and NCAA.

  8. Gophers didn't earn crap. The refs gave them what they got. Yea to the stellar refs of the WCHA.

  9. I hate Minnesota as much as the next person, but they deserve to be in over Wisconsin right now.

Wiscy was under .500 in the WCHA, under .500 overall, got swept in the first round of their conference tournament, 2-6 against the top 3 in the conference, and Notre Dame is their only decent non-conference win.

Minnesota's resume isn't much more impressive: Under .500 in the WCHA, 1-7-2 against the top 3 in the conference. But they're at least over .500 overall, won a playoff series, and have a top notch non-conference win over Michigan.

I'd prefer that neither team get in, but there's absolutely no way to justify the Badgers getting in at this point. At least you can make a case for the Gophers.

  10. Can't really make a case for either over the Mavs which is mostly my point.

And what does being liberal have anything to do with the price of tea in china? And for the record I am the furthest from political it gets so I'm a nothing :D

  11. I agree that the Wiscosin Badgers don't deserve a bid as well as the Gophers and I won't cry if they don't get in. I do predict they won't win another game this season.
